Part of FSH@O\u2019s mission is to not only provide opportunities to do fun things around the office, but outside of it as well! This summer Albany will be presenting Movies at Monteith from the Monteith Riverfront Park!!! They have a new sound system and a giant inflatable screen, 24 ft. wide by 20 ft. high. Concessions are available and the movies start a little after dusk (8:57 to 8:17 depending on date). A few of us were thinking it would be fun to attend one of the movies they will be presenting. If anyone has a preference, let me know! I\u2019m leaning towards ET on August 1.<\/p>\n
Here is the movie lineup for the 2014 season:<\/p>\n
\u2022\tJuly 11-\u201dFrozen\u201d, the incredibly popular animated Disney feature.
\n\u2022\tJuly 18-\u201dNorth by Northwest\u201d, an Alfred Hitchcock suspense classic starring Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint.
\n\u2022\tJuly 25-\u201dThe Lego Movie\u201d, another insanely popular animated family film.
\n\u2022\tAugust 1-\u201dET\u201d, the winner of our viewer\u2019s choice contest on our facebook page!
\n\u2022\tAugust 15-\u201dThe Wizard of Oz\u201d, hold onto your ruby slippers movie fans because 2014 is the 75th Anniversary of this much beloved classic.<\/p>\n
Another fun activity taking place in Albany is the River Rythms concert series which are also held at Monteith Park. Here is the concert line up:<\/p>\n
