It’s already week 7 of Fall term and class grades are beginning to stabilize, so now is the time to ask yourself: “Are my grades where I want them to be?” and “Should I allow this course to affect my GPA?”\u00a0 If you answered no to either of these questions, talk to your advisor and see if it is possible to S\/U a troublesome class, or even withdraw from it.<\/p>\n
To S\/U a class means changing from the traditional A-F grading basis to a satisfactory\/unsatisfactory one.\u00a0 If you choose to do this, you need to fill out the Change of Grading Basis Form<\/a> and have it signed by your advisor.\u00a0 A grade of an “S” or a “U” has no grade point equivalency and will not be calculated into your overall GPA.<\/p>\n A withdrawn course will appear on your transcript with a grade of W. The W grade does not affect your GPA.
