Things are really filling out in the garden this month. \u00a0Come and visit during\u00a0our Demonstration Gardens Tour, July 2nd from 2-3pm.<\/strong> \u00a0The herb gardeners are going to have samples of iced basil lemonade! \u00a0(Did you know the MG’s\u00a0are growing 10 different kinds of basil?!)<\/p>\n

The native plant garden area was recently started. \u00a0This garden is located at the corner of Jefferson and the alley in a more shady part of the garden. \u00a0Soil was prepped, anchor\u00a0plants installed and irrigation is in.<\/p>\n

Finally got around to staking the tomatoes in the trial bed! \u00a0Before (top) and after (bottom)-look there is basil under there!<\/p>\n

The pollinator patch is looking great, too. \u00a0Sunflowers need to be thinned and the zinnias are growing in. \u00a0Some mystery plants are growing from the “Bee Mix” seed packets which were seeded on the far edges.<\/p>\n
