Program Components

To complete the ESOL endorsement, candidates must do the following:

  1. complete all ESOL coursework with a 3.0/B average or higher;
  2. pass the ESOL teacher licensure exam; and
  3. submit a satisfactory portfolio during the ESOL Internship.

A program application must be submitted and approved in order to become an official ESOL endorsement candidate. We recommend taking one ESOL course prior to submitting this application.
