We are pleased to announce the annual College of Science + Honors College\u00a0Research Mixer happening this Friday, February 2, from 3-5 p.m. in LINC 228<\/strong>. This is your chance to get motivated high-achieving students in your lab to work with you and your team.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Bring a slide to present your work, and your best one-minute spiel to excite and inspire undergraduates about the research in your lab. After presentations there will be an hour to interact with students eager to work with you.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Doing research is one of the most important ways to improve a student’s educational experience in college. The outcomes are powerful and positive because faculty can engage in broader impact projects, mentor future scientists, or at least get some SOPs standardized!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Last year we had a great showing of faculty, who opened up spots in their labs to Honors College students. Don’t miss your opportunity<\/strong>.
