Here is the update on the upcoming events pertaining to Chemistry\u2019s Purchasing and Holiday Schedule.\u00a0 Note: I will be out on vacation Wednesday July 3rd.<\/p>\n

July Events<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Saturday July 1st<\/sup> \u2013 Purchasing active again.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Please send your orders requests and approvals in now so I may process them as soon as possible.<\/li>\n
  3. Monday July 3rd<\/sup> \u2013 Chem Stores Closed<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Tuesday July 4th<\/sup> \u2013 Fourth of July Holiday<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Purchasing active again:<\/strong>\u00a0 As you are no doubt aware, Purchasing has been shut down since June 16th for the fiscal year end.\u00a0 The new Fiscal Year begins Saturday July 1st.\u00a0 I will be in on Saturday July 1st to place current backlogged orders and continue as needed on Monday, July 3rd.<\/p>\n

    Note: I will be away Tuesday and Wednesday.\u00a0 <\/strong>July 4th<\/sup>: Holiday and, July 5th<\/sup>: Vacation Day.<\/p>\n

    Fourth of July Holiday<\/strong>:\u00a0 Tuesday July 4th<\/sup> is a national Holiday: U.S. Independence Day.\u00a0 As such the Chemistry Department and the University will be closed in observance of the Holiday.<\/p>\n

    Note<\/strong>: Chem Stores Personnel, making a long weekend, are on vacation Monday July 3rd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Therefore Chem Stores will be closed from 4:00 PM Friday 6\/30\/17 until 9:00 AM Wednesday 7\/5\/17<\/strong>.\u00a0 Please plan accordingly.<\/p>\n
