Teach 10-15 contact hours (8-12 credit hours) of chemistry courses each academic term, depending on released time for scholarly activity.\u00a0 Teaching assignments will include undergraduate and graduate level courses in biochemistry as well as general chemistry.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum qualifications:\u00a0\u00a0 Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or closely related area from an accredited college or university at the time of application; postdoctoral research experience or equivalent; evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and in research.<\/p>\n<p>Preferred qualifications:\u00a0 Teaching experience at the collegiate level, e.g. teaching assistant, instructor, Assistant Professor; research interests that focus on an area which enhances the department\u2019s existing research programs.<\/p>\n<p>Send cover letter, vita, copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts, statement of teaching philosophy, three original letters of recommendation, and description of proposed research to:<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Robert E.
