Military service is a tradition in\u00a0her family as both her parents were in the Army. \u00a0She selected OSU for college because her mom got her Masters degree from here and because \u201cshe didn\u2019t want\u00a0to to that school in Eugene.\u201d Her favorite courses were the Integrated lab sequence because it was \u201clots of fun and hands on.\u201d \u00a0She also really enjoyed Staci\u00a0Simonich\u2019s CH 692 Environmental Transformation of Organic Compounds course and Jennifer Field\u2019s Toxicology course. \u00a0She has worked in Staci\u2019s lab for over\u00a0a year now and has really valued the experience. \u00a0She has also been active in the Student Alumni Association during her time at OSU.
