The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Ohio University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant Professor with research interests in the area of inorganic chemistry as broadly defined. A Ph.D. in chemistry is required at the time of appointment and significant postdoctoral research and teaching experience will be considered favorably. The selected candidate will be expected to establish a nationally prominent and externally funded research program and to teach courses in their area of expertise at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The area of proposed research is flexible, but candidates who can contribute to existing interdisciplinary strengths in synthetic, biological and materials chemistry are of particular interest.
