Originally from South Africa, I did my undergraduate degree at Tshwane University of Technology.  My work experiences have been mainly in the conservation services/law enforcement fields with government agencies, private and non-profit organizations in national parks and private reserves in Mozambique and South Africa.

I joined the Epps Lab as a Masters student in September 2012 to study dispersal characteristics of African buffalo (Syncerus caffer) in Kruger National Park.  Having completed my M.S. in 2016, I am currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program, researching spatial ecology, demography, and immunology of bighorn sheep in southeastern Oregon and northern Nevada.
