When/why should I talk to an advisor?

When you: A. Have had any changes in your academic plan, B. Are considering declaring any new program of study (minor, major, specialization), C. Would like guidance on putting together your class schedule for  the next term, D. Want to discuss career plans or internships, E. Have an urgent concern or need and are not sure where to go for help on campus,  F. It is mandatory to meet with your advisor spring term to discuss your course plan for the coming year and to obtain your registration PIN.  Your advisor will notifiy you via email when early fall advising will begin. It is strongly recommended that you check in once a term to update your file and make sure you’re on track.
