  1. My new year’s resolution are typically more of a to-do list than a resolution. This year the top of that to-do list is to finally finish my master’s degree, which hopefully will be sometime between now and March 24th, which is the amount of time I have to finish writing my thesis and defend it. Looking forward to having that done!

  2. Great job, Scott. Thank you for kicking the new year into action with a great video! My New Year’s resolution for 2016 is to offer extension programs in Spanish to reach underrepresented groups in Malheur County, as well as to manage my time more efficiently. Keep up the great work on the pithy videos.

  3. Instituting new policies to enable retention of our newer faculty and staff (most of them millennials) both in the short and long-term but also providing them with appropriate orientation that will support their success at OSU.

  4. Thank You Scott for the end of Year Blog. My New Years Resolution is to manage my time more wisely and continue to promote Oregon State University in all parts of this great state and beyond. Go Beavs !!

  5. My New Year’s Resolution for Extension is two fold. First that Scott continue to keep doing your first monthly updates. Very informative and a good way to keep in touch. Second is that we work hard to make Extension the best it can be. We need to welcome and support the new “Debbie” when that person is hired. We need to do everything we can to help the new person be a success and we all need to help make that happen.

    Best Regards,

Mark Labhart, County Commissioner and ECAN Member

  6. Resolutions are fleeting and ignorable. Intentions, especially stated intentions, are more meaningful and last longer. My intention this year is to provide the Division with cutting edge evaluation services as I see evaluation.

  7. My plan this year is to do more outreach and engagement not only online but face to face too! I am making it a personal mission to assist others with professional development, not only within Extension, but O&E, OSU and across cyberspace. 🙂
