Hi All!<\/p>\n
This is my first time ever blogging. I would have to say, it is a bit intimidating and a little odd to be sitting here at my computer not knowing exactly what to say. I have a feeling that this is suppose to be formal, but I can almost not help but make it seem like I am talking to a friend.<\/p>\n
Setting up my blog was pretty simple. I thought the instructions given to us were very direct and to the point. Thank you by the way for that. Sometimes with instructions I miss the important information or what I am actually suppose to be doing.<\/p>\n
After setting up my blog, I started to work on my email signature. Boy was that a bit of a hassle! The instructions were perfect, but for some reason when I was trying to reply to the original email it wasn’t showing the signature I had just set up. So because of that, I had to send myself an email to make sure it was working. Then after I checked that off, I sent a reply email to see that it was all working exactly how I wanted it to. I am still a little skeptical if I did it correctly, but at this point if I messed it up, there is truly little to no hope for me.<\/p>\n
This class has only been going on for less than a week and I already find myself learning so much more than I expected about my computer. First off, I had no idea that our computers could tag a website on the title when making discussion points. It honestly looks so sophisticated! Secondly, I am beyond grateful for the text-to-speech function for the internet. I will be honest, I played around between English accents and British accents for a good 5 minutes. I decided I would keep English for academic work, but make it a British accent when I have it read Buzzfeed news to me in the morning. It is so fun and creative!<\/p>\n
I am extremely excited for all the other tips and tricks I am going to learn.<\/p>\n
