Here is a checklist of procedures that may be useful to you throughout completion of the Online Master of Education degree.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Sign up for an <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.onid.orst.edu\/\"><strong>ONID<\/strong><\/a> <strong>(OSU Network ID) account<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>An ONID account provides:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Email (username@onid.orst.edu, 200MB per user)<\/li>\n<li>File storage (1GB per user)<\/li>\n<li>Personal web pages (including MySQL database access)<\/li>\n<li>UNIX shell access<\/li>\n<li>Access to other services (<a href=\"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/net\/network\/wireless\/\">wireless network<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/my.oregonstate.edu\/\">Blackboard<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/resnet\">ResNet<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/scf.oregonstate.edu\/\">IS computer labs<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/osulibrary.orst.edu\/ill\/\">Interlibrary Loan<\/a>, plus more)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ONID: <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/onid.oregonstate.edu\/\">http:\/\/onid.oregonstate.edu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> We recommended that you forward your ONID email to your school email address since other email accounts (gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc.) will consider email from OSU spam.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To activate your account:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go the OSU Network Identification Web site: <a href=\"http:\/\/onid.oregonstate.edu\/\">http:\/\/onid.oregonstate.edu\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Click on \u201cSign up for ONID\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Type in your <strong>OSU ID Number<\/strong> and <strong>General Access Pin (GAP)<\/strong> number<\/li>\n<li>Set your password<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>For help:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Call <a href=\"http:\/\/tss.oregonstate.edu\/OCH\">OSU Computer Helpdesk<\/a>, Valley Library, 541-737-3474, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. You can also e-mail <a href=\"mailto:osucomputerhelpdesk@oregonstate.edu\">osucomputerhelpdesk@oregonstate.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Register for Courses <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You must enroll for at least 3 credits each term through OSU Extended Campus (Ecampus).
