His lecture explores the formation of Taiwanese masculinities in the blurred boundaries of families and marriages under Japanese rule. Tadashi, is a post-doctoral fellow of the Chiu program for Taiwan studies in the School of History, Philosophy and Religion.\u00a0<b>4 p.m., Hallie Ford Center, 115<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Film Screening\u00a0<\/b>\u2013<b> W<\/b><b>hat the<\/b><b> <\/b><b>Health. <\/b>Filmmaker<b>\u00a0<\/b>Kip Andersen uncovers the secret to preventing and even reversing chronic diseases, and he investigates why the nation&#8217;s leading health organizations don\u2019t want people to know about it.\u00a0<b>5 p.m. Milam 319<\/b>. He worked with conductors from Morehead University and guest conducted the mixed chorus at the Morehead University Choral Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Coordinator of Music and Director of Percussion Studies<b> Bob Brudvig <\/b>performed as vibraphone soloist in Marco Putz&#8217;s &#8220;Jubilee Vibrations&#8221; with the <b>OSU Wind Ensemble<\/b> at the Western International Band Clinic in Seattle, Washington. Director of Bands Chris Chapman lead the ensemble in a program including Chang Ku Soh&#8217;s &#8220;Lament,&#8221; Sousa&#8217;s &#8220;The Bride Elect March,&#8221; David Maslanka&#8217;s &#8220;Requiem&#8221; and Patrick Lenz&#8217;s &#8220;Pillar of Fire.&#8221; OSU associate Director of Bands <b>Olin Hannum<\/b> also conducted the ensemble in James David&#8217;s &#8220;Big Four on the River&#8221; and OSU graduate music education student Francis Sefton conducted David Gorham&#8217;s &#8220;In the Light of the Past.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Coordinator of Contemporary Music Studies <b>Dana Reason<\/b> premiered her new work &#8220;Strains&#8221; on November 15 at The Arts Center in Corvallis. The work was composed using research data on Superbugs and Antibiotics from Harvard Medical assistant professor Michael Baym.
