Kazin<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>is an expert in U.S. politics and social movements, 19th and 20th centuries. His book \u201cAmerican Dreamers: How the Left Changed a Nation\u201d, was named a Best Book of 2011 by The New Republic, Newsweek\/Daily Beast, and The Progressive. Director of bands Chris Chapman leads the OSU Wind Ensemble, OSU Chamber Choir, Bella Voce, Corvallis Repertory Singers and soloists Amy Hansen and Nicolai Strommer in only the fifth complete performance of the work. Schnitzer and His Schnitzer Family Foundation, <strong>April 3 through May 3<\/strong>.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jordanschnitzer.org\/\">Schnitzer<\/a>, a Portland businessman, collector and philanthropist who owns one of the country\u2019s largest private collections of contemporary prints and multiples, will provide remarks about the exhibition\u2019s artists and artwork. OSU President Ed Ray also will give remarks. An informal, self-guided tour of the exhibition will follow. Pieces from the exhibit will be displayed in the Fairbanks Gallery as well as in four cultural centers on campus.
