Source will present paintings, sculptures and box shrines that reference the sacredness of our rivers and coastal waters \u2013 the very source of life.<\/span><\/p>\n The Fairbanks Gallery at Oregon State University will host \u201cMontage,\u201d an exhibition of art and poetry by OSU students, Dec. 9 through Jan. 23<\/strong>. An artist\u2019s talk and public reception will take place in the gallery at 5 p.m. on Jan. 19<\/strong>. The event is free and open to the public. It is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. the third Thursday of each month for the Corvallis Arts Walk.<\/p>\n OSU’s 2016 opera production of The Blue Forest<\/strong>\u00a0has been awarded second prize in its division at the National Opera Association’s annual college opera competition. The project was a collaboration among\u00a0Marc Callahan<\/strong>, Andy Myers<\/strong>, Mike Harrison Gamble<\/strong>, Sara Robinson<\/strong>, Demara Cabrera<\/strong> and Lauren Servias<\/strong> and included students from the opera workshop course who sang the roles and created digital and lighting effects.
