Bexell Hall Landscape Input Sessions — Join the College of Liberal Arts and the award-winning Portland-based landscape architecture group Place for an information session on the upcoming exterior renovation to Bexell Hall’s landscape. Among many projects, Place’s landscape architects designed the “Elephant Lands” at the Oregon Zoo, as well as the Swarovski Crystal World park in Wattens, Austria. 1-2 p.m. and 2-3 p.m., Bexell 208. The OSU Album Club — Hosted by Bob Santelli. 7:30 p.m., Bexell Hall Lounge. It’s like a book club, but some of the greatest albums of all time will be assigned and discussed. Tonight: Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

Retirement Reception — Join us for a retirement reception for Professor Anita Guerrini, who is retiring after 10 years of service to the School of History, Philosophy and Religion. 4 p.m. Memorial Union, Journey Room, 105. Lightly catered.

SWLF Winter Open House — The School of Writing, Literature and Film hosts its annual Winter Open House in conjunction with a holiday celebration. Enjoy coffee and treats, learn about our programs, meet faculty, and get free OSU swag. All interested students and parents welcome! 5-7 p.m. in the Moreland Hall Lobby.
