Current Research, Publications and Creative Activity

Megan Ward, Assistant Professor in the School of Writing, Literature, and Film, will give two invited talks: one at the National Library of Scotland and one at the British Library. Both celebrate the launch of the digital archive Livingstone Online, which collects the manuscripts of the Victorian explorer David Livingstone. Ward will present with project collaborators from the University of Nebraska, Edinburgh Napier University, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Associate Professor in the School of Writing, Literature and Film Susan Rodgers presented two papers at the North American Review Bicentennial Creative Writing and Literature Conference, held at University of Northern Iowa, June 11-13, 2015:  “The Coming of Age Story:  It’s About Time” and “The Problem With Workshops:  Alternative Approaches to Teaching Revision.”  She also read original creative work as part of a mixed-media panel:  “Collage:  A Reading and Reflection.”

Tara Williams (SWLF) and Rebecca Olson (SWLF) recently published the column, “When Two Heads Really are Better Than One in The Chronicle of Higher Education.
