The final results are in from our very first electricity\u00a0reduction competition put on by the Eco-representatives<\/a> of the Oregon State University’s residence halls.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Kilowatt Crackdown \u00a0was a month long competition with weekly tips on how to reduce electricity\u00a0consumption. The Eco-reps of West, Sackett, Wilson, McNary, and Poling Hall<\/strong> educated residents in their halls about how to turn out the lights, walk the stairs, unplug electronics, and more energy saving tips.<\/p>\n

The goal with the Kilowatt Crackdown was to get students involved and educated about electricity usage, and empower them on ways they can make a change, and reduce their personal electricity usage!\"13263719_998335240244643_3647101704839753379_n\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Poling Hall will be presented with a plaque to hang in their lounge in honor of being the Kilowatt Crackdown Champions!<\/p>\n
