{"id":3891,"date":"2013-11-08T14:00:54","date_gmt":"2013-11-08T21:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/sustainability\/blog\/?p=3891"},"modified":"2013-11-08T14:00:54","modified_gmt":"2013-11-08T21:00:54","slug":"welcome-the-201314-eco-reps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.blogs.oregonstate.edu\/ecologue\/2013\/11\/08\/welcome-the-201314-eco-reps\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome the 2013\/14 Eco-Reps!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/sustainability\/\">OSU Sustainability Office<\/a> hired three new Eco-Representative for the second year it its pilot program.\u00a0 This program was developed with the goal of hiring resident representatives to carry out sustainability programming and outreach in the resident halls.\u00a0 Including the Sustainability Office, Eco-Reps are supported by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/recycle.oregonstate.edu\/\">Campus Recycling<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/uhds\/\">UHDS<\/a>,\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">RHA <\/span>and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/ssi\/\">SSI<\/a> and work with multiple departments and organizations on campus to meet sustainability goals.<\/p>\n<p>Eco-Reps are responsible for advancing and institutionalizing a culture of sustainability in the residence halls in which they live.
