{"id":2174,"date":"2012-05-03T10:17:02","date_gmt":"2012-05-03T17:17:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/sustainability\/blog\/?p=2174"},"modified":"2012-05-03T10:17:02","modified_gmt":"2012-05-03T17:17:02","slug":"info-services-launches-new-videoconferencing-we","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.blogs.oregonstate.edu\/ecologue\/2012\/05\/03\/info-services-launches-new-videoconferencing-we\/","title":{"rendered":"Information Services launches new videoconferencing website"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2175\" title=\"videoconf_home\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/ecologue\/files\/2012\/05\/videoconf_home.png\" alt=\"videoconf_home\" width=\"422\" height=\"114\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, following valuable input from many stakeholders, OSU Information Services launched\u00a0a\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/is\/services\/videoconferencing\">new Videoconferencing Services website<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0The goal of this site is to give customers a central hub from which they can discover and request these services \u2014 regardless of whether that service is provided by Media Services, Network Services, or a DCA. \u00a0When customers do request services, they describe their need via a questionnaire, which further helps IS consult with them on the right solution for their needs.<\/p>\n<p>The questionnaire uses a webforms module to help direct communications from and to customers. \u00a0In addition to sending email to the service provider(s), the webform populates submissions into a database.
