There is $26,000 available in grants this year, and a  single project may apply for up to $6,000 dollars.  Projects which support student efforts to create a sustainable community at OSU through opportunity, education, and action are more likely to be funded.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1370  alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/ecologue\/files\/2011\/10\/20110408-DSC_0942-sm-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"20110408-DSC_0942-sm\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To apply for a grant you must be a currently enrolled OSU student and intend to use the grant money to support sustainability efforts in the OSU community.<\/p>\n<p>Previously funded projects include:<br \/>\nComposting projects at student co-op\u2019s and academic departments, green roof demonstration sites, OSU&#8217;s permaculture class, the OSU Solar Vehicle team, a conference on Earth Democracy, and student gardening projects.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are due November 20, 2010.\u00a0 You can access grant applications and guidelines online by <a href=\"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/sustainability\/ssi\/resources\/grants\/project\">clicking here<\/a>. After completion, applications are to be sent to SSI Fee Board Chair, Justin Russell at ssi.feeboard@oregonstate.edu.<\/p>\n<p>You do not have to submit a letter of interest.
