The board is charged with managing revenue generated by the OSU Incidental Sustainability Fee (currently ~$500,000\/yr). While technically the governing body for the SSI, the Fee Board concerns itself primarily with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Management of the SSI Grant, Student Wage, Student Travel, and Sustainable Energy Revolving Loan Funds.<\/li>\n<li>Long-term visioning and shepherding of student sustainability efforts at OSU.<\/li>\n<li>Constructing the SSI&#8217;s yearly budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The position of fee board member requires no more than five hours per week, and often requires as little as two.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in the position, of know anyone who might be, please refer to: <a href=\"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/sustainability\/ssi\/jobs\/fee-board-member\"><span>http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/sustainability\/ssi\/jobs\/fee-board-member<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<address><em>The <strong>deadline is August 8th at 5:00 PM<\/strong>, and we are asking that applicants submit a resume and cover letter addressed to the SSI Search Committee via the Fee Board Chair (<span><a href=\"mailto:ssi.feeboard@oregonstate.edu\">ssi.feeboard@oregonstate.edu<\/a>)<\/span>.<\/em><\/address>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The OSU Student Sustainability Initiative looking for one new fee board member, and applications are due Monday, August 8th, at 5:00 PM.
