If you’ve not been there yet, or even if you have, head over to Dixon Recreation Center to contribute your “power” to the 2010 Energy Civil War. There are prizes, including gift certificates to the Beanery and Bike ‘n’ Hike.
Sponsored by the Student Sustainability Initiative and OSU Recreational Sports, the Energy Civil War is an annual event “charging” OSU and UO to see who can generate the most power with our grid-tied exercise equipment.
So far, UO is slightly ahead, but they have to end their competition earlier than OSU because they have more machines.
