Thank you all for helping promote the first-annual Oregon Drive Less Challenge! We not only surpassed our local goal of eliminating 78,000 single-occupant-vehicle miles Oct. 21 – Nov. 1, but we also surpassed the statewide goal of eliminating a half million miles. In Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties, we eliminated 96,488 miles during the Challenge. Statewide, we eliminated 913,664 miles! Those bike trips, carpool commutes, bus rides, and walking trips really added up.
