Become a hero and join the league of the Waste Watchers!
The OSU Waste Watchers club will be holding their termly Meet ‘n’ Eat where you are encouraged to stop by, eat pizza and meet people who share your interests in sustainability, while learning about the group and ways you can get involved to reduce waste at OSU. The Meet ‘n’ Eat will be held on Thursday, January 18th from 5-6pm in the Student Experience Center (SEC) room 206 (aka the SSI/CCE office).
The Waste Watcher’s mission is to engage students and the community in waste reduction at OSU by providing educational programming, meaningful opportunities for action, and empowerment of future leaders. Waste Watcher weekly meetings will be held Thursdays from 4:30-6pm in SEC room 206 (same room the Meet ‘n’ Eat will be held in).
There is also the opportunity to become a member of the No Food Left Behind Committee. The committee strives to promote awareness of wasted food and ways we can reduce our wasted food footprint. Their weekly meetings will be held every Friday from 4-5pm starting Friday, January 12th in SEC room 254.
