Who: Gabe Janzen, a Student IT Worker for Surplus for the last year and a half.
What he does here: I refurbish the university’s old computers for resale.
One fave thing about his job: Getting to play with a large variety of old and new technology.
If he could improve one thing about waste reduction at OSU: Less wasted resources on equipment that was never used. We sometimes see very old computer parts in their original packaging.
