Surplus Property is accepting applications for one full-time Property Specialist 3 staff position.

This position will provide support for all online sales and assist with public, department and agency surplus sales in the warehouse including receiving, pricing, storing and tracking surplus property.

This Property Specialist focuses on selling surplus property using the appropriate online sales websites or weekly OSUsed Store public sales. Additionally, this position receives and inventories surplus property, including, but not limited to, completing paperwork, providing customer service to OSU and external agencies, entering inventory information into the Surplus Property Management System (SPMS) database and identifying/tagging inventory items.

Other responsibilities include pricing inventory by researching resale value and comparable prices; storing and tracking inventory identified for online sales; and providing oversight of each online sale, including shipping, and addressing any concerns that may arise. This position provides lead work to to several student workers who assist with these duties.
