OSU Campus Recycling, in partnership with da Vinci Days, the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition, and Allied Waste, we are coordinating compost collection at the annual da Vinci Days Festival (July 15-17), and we need your help!
You will staff a recycling station – greeting attendees and helping them sort their waste into compost, recycling, and trash. Alternatively, you can work behind the scenes by signing up to help with this year’s Green Star pilot program – helping participating vendors sort their recycling and compost. Training will be provided.
This is a big undertaking and an enormous opportunity to both divert organic material from our landfill and educate people from our community and beyond about composting! See how we did last year.
Sign up for 4 or more hours (at least 2 two-hour shifts) during the weekend and receive a free all weekend bracelet – have fun staffing a station and enjoy the festival the rest of the day!
