The Southern Poverty Law Center has released two new reports on hate-motivated incidents since the election. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.splcenter.org\/20161129\/ten-days-after-harassment-and-intimidation-aftermath-election\">The first<\/a> reveals that the center documented nearly 900 such incidents, many on college campuses, in the 10 days following the election of Donald J. Trump as president.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.splcenter.org\/20161128\/trump-effect-impact-2016-presidential-election-our-nations-schools\">The second<\/a> reveals that in a survey of 10,000 educators, largely at elementary and secondary schools, 90 percent said that their institution\u2019s climate had been negatively affected by the election.<br \/>\nMany of the episodes, on campuses and off, involved references to President-elect Donald J. Trump. Here\u2019s the latest:<\/p>\n<h3>November 29, 2016<\/h3>\n<p>Among the latest incidents, a Muslim student at the <strong>University of Washington<\/strong>suffered a concussion after someone threw a bottle at her head while she was walking on the campus this month. The student, who was wearing a <em>hijab,<\/em>reported the incident to the university police but no campus alert was sent out, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seattletimes.com\/seattle-news\/crime\/muslim-leaders-call-on-fbi-to-investigate-attack-on-uw-student\/\"><em>The Seattle Times<\/em> reported.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The police told the <em>Times<\/em> that due to the lack of a description of the suspect and no video evidence, they do not have much to go on.
