For generations now, Chinese restaurants have been popping up all over America as Sit down restaurants, delivery chains, fast food, and highly fancy places to eat. These restaurants exist for the same reason any other restaurant would, however for some, it is the only livelihood the owners have, sometimes because of immigration issues, sometimes because of language barriers. For whatever reason, often times first generation family-owned Chinese restaurants rely solely on their restaurant’s success to live in the United States. This makes it very important to adapt to consumer needs, including changes in tradition.

This site aims to explore various reasons for changes in traditional recipes of some famously Chinese foods and the dining process in general.
