Ryan Mitchell, Debrah Rarick, Al Christensen, and Dave Johnson received the 2012 staff awards.
The College of Veterinary Medicine honored the contributions of top-notch staff at a luncheon in the ballroom of the OSU Alumni Center last week.
Associate Dean Sue Tornquist presented Dave Johnson and Ryan Mitchell with the Outstanding Staff awards. Ryan received praise for his positive attitude and problem-solving ability. Dave was commended for always helping staff and students quickly and cheerfully. It was also noted that Dave “delights in keeping track of hackers and other evil-doers to keep the college computers safe and running.”
Debrah Rarick and Al Christensen received the Exemplary Service awards. Al was recognized for his indispensable work behind the scenes tackling technical issues. Tornquist said, “The College could not run without him.” Rarick was commended for her seventeen years of service and her invaluable knowledge of the history of the college.
