How did you end up at your role here in the College of Forestry?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been here about three years as the help desk coordinator. I schedule the student workers and manage the help desk to make sure tickets get completed and everything is functional. I\u2019m originally from Portland, and I went to school here at Oregon State. I worked as a student worker for the College of Business. After graduation, I stuck around Corvallis. I love working at my alma mater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s your favorite part about your job?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I like staying relevant in a technological world where technologies are always growing. I get to do research and interact with students \u2013 who usually know more than I do. I like to stay relevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you do when you\u2019re not working?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I play racquetball about three times a week. I also like biking and camping. This summer, I\u2019ve been gardening a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where do you like to go camping?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anywhere in the Willamette Valley, really. It\u2019s easy enough to go an hour out and find a slew of spots near rivers or lakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you a cat person or a dog person?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would say I\u2019m a dog person, but my girlfriend and I have two cats. They\u2019re kind of dog-like. They play fetch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s your favorite Karaoke song?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I sing Karaoke from time to time. Queen songs are great for Karaoke. My favorite is probably \u2018Don\u2019t Stop Me Now.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are you reading right now?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m listening to the Dark Tower series on audiobook right now. I\u2019m in an audiobook club. I usually listen to books on my commute to and from Philomath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your house was on fire, and you could only grab three objects to save, what would you choose?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. A bay of external hard drives with all my media content.<\/li>
  2. My motorcycle jacket that I\u2019ve had for years.<\/li>
