Their resulting ale won the gold medal at the European Beer Star competition in Germany, beating over 1400 <em>commercial<\/em> entries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/oregonprogress.oregonstate.edu\/summer-2015\/student-entrepreneurs\">Student cheesemakers win national Blue Ribbon<\/a>\u00a0At last summer\u2019s American Cheese Society competition,\u00a0the mozzarella variety\u00a0of Beaver Classic Cheese\u2014made and marketed by AgSci students\u2014won\u00a0first place in\u00a0its category, beating out <em>commercial<\/em> entries from all over the United States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/oregonprogress.oregonstate.edu\/summer-2015\/things-are-moooo-ving-osu-dairy\">Living laboratories offer hands-on experience in life sciences<\/a>\u00a0In 2014, the College completely revamped the OSU Dairy to reflect contemporary management and research relevant to Oregon\u2019s 3<sup>rd<\/sup> largest agricultural industry.
