\nSoftware Engineer

Description:<\/strong><\/div>\n

The Software Engineer is a member of the engineering team and works closely with the Program Management, QA and Creative teams to develop new products, integrate custom solutions of existing products, and maintain current products and platforms. This position involves working directly with customers to help integrate and customize our products to meet their needs.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Participate in business requirements team analysis
\n\u2022 Develop, test, and maintain new products\/services based on requirements
\n\u2022 Develop, test, and maintain our web and kiosk solutions for our customers.
\n\u2022 Follow software development guidelines.
\n\u2022 Participates in agile-based project management, troubleshooting, and proactive feedback
\n\u2022 Stay current on the state of the art of development on the Microsoft .NET platform.<\/p>\n

Qualifications \/ Skills Required:
\n\u2022 Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
\n\u2022 Experience using the Microsoft platform, .NET, Visual Studio, and C#.
\n\u2022 Experience using relational DBMS, experience using Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL a plus.
\n\u2022 Experience developing with web technologies including ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML, and CSS.
\n\u2022 Experience with designing and consuming web services: REST, XML & JSON payloads
\n\u2022 Demonstrable experience building and\/or maintaining native mobile applications (iOS\/Android)
\n\u2022 Experience with responsive design and mobile web development techniques
\n\u2022 Experience with the Scrum development process is a plus.
\n\u2022 A sense of humor.<\/p>\n

Education:
\n\u2022 Bachelor’s degree required, Computer Science major strongly preferred.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Reports to Director of Engineering
\n\u2022 This position is based in Portland, Oregon.<\/p>\n
