At the completion of this assignment I think that LittleBits could use more recycling options for their product with it has been used or if there are recycling options highlighting them and making them more well-known. I think this addition to the product would be beneficial to their image because they are future thinkers designing for future generations in mind which only makes sense to take the environment into account when producing their product.

One of my dreams one day is to travel to Taiwan and or other countries and learn how to cook lots of different dishes and be able to make them whenever I wanted.

Overall it was easy to find information for this projects, but the one thing I had trouble with though was that since the product it relatively new there is not enough information to answer some of the questions asked for the project. I learned a lot about this project and did not realize how much effort goes into the design and marketing associated with a product and how they relate to the audiences using them.

At the moment I have done some initial research on littleBits through Wikipedia to find starting points for finding information on this startup company. I have been able to find many reliable resources such as CNN, The Wall Street Journal, and The Daily Dot. I believe with these resources I am on the right track to being able to construct a timeline, social factors, and professional manner. I am also using easybib to create a bibliography for this project.

Thinking back about Legos I always remember how much I enjoyed the sets I got as presents. I enjoyed building those Lego sets the day I received them or the day after and always felt so satisfied with myself when I finished them. For some reason I felt really satisfied following the directions and producing from them.

Optimizing photos went well. The instructions for it were very straightforward: specific file types, specific file sizes, and dimensions that fit into the rest of the post. Uploading pictures to the right file type and fitting them into the posts were easy but it was a little difficult to get the pictures to be the right file size. Took time fiddling with the picture in paint to obtain approximately the right size.

I finally completed my rough draft of the cultural project on Yueh-Lin Loo, I learned a lot about someone that I would have otherwise not every known. It was difficult at times writing the project because there was so little information on Lynn that I had some trouble reaching the word count. I also had some trouble figuring out how to appropriately post and customize my pages on the various required activities. After finishing the writing I am glad I did the project and learned a lot about a not well known engineer.

To set up the RSS link to my blog I had to log into my gmail account then personalize my news feed to be about gender and technology then copy and paste the RSS link so that I could then create an RSS link to my gmail news through the blog by attaching it as a widget. I think this addition to my blog will make it easier to do research and be informed of current events related to gender and technology. Just from glancing at the headlines the articles that come up for gender and technology seem to be very business oriented. Most of the articles have a connection to a company of the internal structure of a company.

Slowly becoming accustomed to the set up of the blog and is becoming more enjoyable than before when I knew very little about blogs. I also enjoyed the information we read about gender gaps this week.
