Sponsored by the College of Pharmacy&#8217;s Entrepreneurial Academy, students provide a health fair for attendees followed be a breakdance competition. The event continues to grow as\u00a0break dancers from all over the northwest and California travel to Corvallis to compete at this event.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/1e746d033f5fdd5e75ab7eb1b\/images\/DSC_0162.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"212\" align=\"none\" \/><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: arial, 'helvetica neue', helvetica, sans-serif\">The event slogan,\u00a0&#8220;Dancing Towards Personal Health,&#8221; encourages attendees to take charge of their health and get active. \u00a0The health fair, planned and\u00a0implemented\u00a0entirely\u00a0by pharmacy students, provides immunizations, blood pressure and\u00a0glucose screenings, and an abundance of\u00a0information on how to live a healthy lifestyle. \u00a0Food@OSU and the dietetics club brought their &#8220;smoothie bike&#8221; to the event. Participants got active and used leg\u00a0power to fuel a\u00a0blender and make a smoothie!<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: arial, 'helvetica neue', helvetica, sans-serif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/1e746d033f5fdd5e75ab7eb1b\/images\/IMG_5140_edit.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"342\" align=\"none\" \/><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, 'helvetica neue', helvetica, sans-serif\">If you\u00a0weren&#8217;t one of the 300+ attendees at this year&#8217;s Breakin&#8217; Down the MU, make sure to keep an eye out for Breakin&#8217; Down the MU IV in January 2015!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; January 31 marked the 3rd annual Breakin&#8217; Down the MU.
