Down the MU&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pharmacy.oregonstate.edu\/blogs\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/MU.dancer.Oct2011.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-1035\" title=\"MU.dancer.Oct2011\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/beaverx\/files\/2011\/10\/MU.dancer.Oct2011-225x300.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/osu-wams-blogs-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/blogs.dir\/1894\/files\/2011\/10\/MU.dancer.Oct2011-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/osu-wams-blogs-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/blogs.dir\/1894\/files\/2011\/10\/MU.dancer.Oct2011-769x1024.jpg 769w, https:\/\/osu-wams-blogs-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/blogs.dir\/1894\/files\/2011\/10\/MU.dancer.Oct2011.jpg 1719w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>On Friday October 21<sup>st<\/sup>, the students of the College of Pharmacy\u2019s chapter of NCPA hosted \u201cBreakin&#8217;\u00a0Down\u00a0the MU \u2013 Dancing Toward Personal Health\u201d in the Memorial Union Ballroom.\u00a0 The evening kicked off with a health fair where guests were able to get answers to medication questions, write notes of encouragement to local women with breast cancer, and learn more about the Pharmacy profession.\u00a0 Pharmacy students also provided blood glucose screenings, flu shots, and blood pressure readings to those in attendance, including Dean Zabriskie.<\/p>\n<p>The second half of the evening featured a break dance battle showcasing talented dancers from within the OSU community and as far away as Portland.\u00a0 With the DJ calling the match-ups and experienced judges deciding the winners, the competition heated up quickly.\u00a0 In addition to OSU students and faculty, special guests Vince Whiting and Michele Belcher also joined the students of the EC.\u00a0 Mr. Whiting is one of the College\u2019s Icons of Pharmacy and Ms. Belcher is a celebrated alumna;
