Homecoming 2011

Join the College of Pharmacy as we celebrate OSU Homecoming 2011 “Livin’ Orange” with a lineup of weekend events!

Friday November 4th

Enjoy an evening of “Fun, Pharmacy, and Football”.  Join pharmacists and former OSUFootball players under Coach Pettibone, Cory Huot (’97) and Tony Huot (’99), Academic All Conference, PAC-10 Player of the Week, 1997 at Squirrels Bar (100 SW 2nd Street, Corvallis) from 7-9pm.

Saturday November 5th

Come for the big game vs. Stanford and stop by the Pharmacy building to meet our new Dean!  Dean Zabriskie will be hosting “Coffee with the Dean” at the College from 9-10am.

Sunday November 6th

Finish out the weekend with innovative new CE programs being offered by the College of Pharmacy!

1 Hour “Pharmacy Means Business!” Session: 9-10am, Room 305, Pharmacy Building

OSU Colleges of Business and Pharmacy will together present MBA options for pharmacists and on-line business courses for pharmacists followed by a presentation on Business Basics for Pharmacists – an overview of Clinical Pharmacy and “Business in Today’s Health  Systems Marketplace” presented by Cory Huot (’97) of Legacy Health Systems.

2 Hour Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Workshop: 10am-12pm, Room 305

Join chain, independent, and consultant pharmacists, managers and staff in learning aboutdocumenting, providing and billing MTM Services.  OUTCOMESTM representatives willhost a hands-on informative, fun and interactive workshop.  The second hour will be MTM –Impacting Patient Safety, a session on patient safety and medication error reduction.

* Approved by OBOP for Oregon’s new Patient Safety CE requirement.
