Dr. Mark Leid Named Interim Dean of
OSU/OHSU College of Pharmacy

The College is pleased to announce that Dr. Mark Leid, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Research, will assume the role of Interim Dean of OSU/OHSU College of Pharmacy effective July 1, 2018. We are pleased that Dr. Leid has agreed to serve the college in this capacity as the search for a permanent dean continues. A faculty member in the College since 1992, Dr. Leid has many former students practicing pharmacy and working in research. Dr. Leid worked as a pharmacist in a variety of practice settings, including hospital and community pharmacy after graduating from the WSU College of Pharmacy in 1983. Leid also worked as a pharmacist at Albright & Raw Pharmacy in Corvallis as a graduate student at OSU (1985-89), and as a relief pharmacist for Fred Meyer throughout the Willamette Valley. Many in the pharmacy realm are familiar with his dedication to the college, the profession, and OSU research.  Here is a link to Dr. Leid’s full professional background: Click Here

As always, please feel free to stop by the College if you are in Corvallis or Portland. Our dean’s office is always open and Dr. Leid will be happy to say hello if you pay a visit to the college.
