2018 ACCP Clinical Research Challenge

OSU College of Pharmacy students Chelsea Harmon (’20),
Rachel Proteau (’20), and Tyler Lantz (’20) received 3rd place in ACCP’s National Clinical Research Challenge. The challenge which began with eighty teams included a three round competition beginning with a Journal Club submission, followed by a Letter of Intent submission, and then the development of Research Protocol. According to their website “teams where tasked with developing a research proposal designed to demonstrate the value of a clinical pharmacist providing antimicrobial stewardship services in a small rural critical access hospital environment” (ACCP). With guidance from team advisor and OSU College of Pharmacy Faculty Dr. Adrian Irwin, the team advanced to the final round and scored third in the overall competition.  Congratulations!
