Global Beavers
Global awareness of students is a priority at OSU and the University has established the opportunity for each College to recognize students that bring forward a global perspective to OSU. Those individuals were identified at an event Sunday May 13th and we were proud to see the contributions of four student pharmacists recognized.
Hailey Colangeli (’21), Neda Kazerouni (’21), Courtney Holmes (’18), and Margaret Underwood (’21) were identified as College of Pharmacy recipients of the OSU Global Consciousness Award for 2018. The contributions of these individuals range from study in international pharmacy settings, to jumpstarting our local participation in the International Pharmacy Student Federation, to meeting the needs of first generation children thorough local outreach. The common thread is a commitment among these individuals to expand their own and their colleagues perspectives, allowing them to recognize and serve global needs.
