Penny Reher (’82) Recognized as 2018 Bowl of Hygeia Award Recipient at OSPA Annual Convention
Penny Reher (’82) Director of Pharmacy at Samaritan Health Services, was recently recognized at the 2018 OSPA Annual Convention as the 2018 Bowl of Hygeia Award Recipient.
In addition to service through their local, state, and national pharmaceutical associations, recipients of the Bowl of Hygeia Award have devoted their time, talent, and resources to a wide variety of interests. It recognizes pharmacists who possess outstanding records of civic leadership in their communities and encourages pharmacists to take active roles in their communities.
As the Chief Pharmacy Officer at Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis, OR, Penny played a key role in the conception and development of the Samaritan Health System, where she leads a team of 175 Pharmacy professionals. She has also served on the Oregon Board of Pharmacy for over 7 years, including 2 terms as Board President (2013-2014 and 2017-2018).
