2018 Entrepreneurial Academy
OSU College of Pharmacy’s Entrepreneurial Academy, a club which facilitates professional development opportunities for business-minded pharmacy students, hosted Beaver Trivia Night on Friday, January 26th in the MU Ballroom. The event featured a health fair, where attendees could visit informational booths, as well as get their blood sugar and blood pressure checked.
16 teams participated in the event
Participants included OSU undergraduate and graduate students, OSU College of Pharmacy Alumni, and faculty from the College of Pharmacy, College of Engineering, College of Agricultural Sciences, and the College of Science. The Entrepreneurial Academy event attracted 16 teams up to play. Groups like the College of Science faculty team, emphatically named “Science,” and the undergraduate freshmen “Irish Wristwatches” answered trivia about sports, geography, and health, as the trivia software gave real-time feedback about scores and rankings.
The College of Pharmacy Faculty trivia group received first place, and each winner took home a $50 Beaver Store gift card. The grand prize winner, Jeff Meeds, took home 2 Disneyland park hopper passes for him and his wife, first year pharmacy student Brielle McKinney (’21).
