OSU College of Pharmacy, Entrepreneurial Academy students planned and organized their annual health fair and fundraiser event
On Friday, January 27, 2017 the OSU College of Pharmacy Entrepreneurial Academy (EA) hosted their annual OSU community health fair and fundraiser at the OSU Memorial Union. The goal of this project is to provide EA students with the knowlege and skills needed to organize and produce a large scale community event. During the planning stages, committees were formed to coordinate marketing, sponsorship, venue, exhibitors, and performers.

The event was a health fair which incorporated the College of Pharmacy’s diverse group of student organizations as well as attracted undergraduate exhibitors in public health clubs from across campus. The fair also incorporated a team dance competition in which five teams competed for a cash prize. In whole, the event attracted over 150 people and brought it over $1,300.00 in corporate sponsorship, donations, and ticket sales.
