2017 Lane County Mid-Winter CE Seminar

On February 17-18, 2017 OSPA held its annual Lane County Mid-Winter CE Seminar at the Eugene Hilton & Conference Center in Eugene, OR. There were ten CE presentations given over the two days. Two of the presentations were given by OSU College of Pharmacy faculty and alumni. Ken Wells (’72), Corporate Business Development Manager, Oregon State University, presented a law update from the Oregon Board of Pharmacy, and Craig Williams, Clinical Professor, OSU/OHSU College of Pharmacy gave a presentation entitled “Aspirin for Primary Prevention: New Guidelines, Old Controversy“.

OSU College of Pharmacy also hosted a booth at the event that was run by five of our P1 and P2 students, Jenny Neil P2, Katherine Rowland P2, Kallie Waldrip P2, Chelsea Harmon P1, and Linda Huynh P1. They provided attendees information about upcoming college events, current online CE programs, and spoke about their personal experiences with OSU College of Pharmacy.
