On Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 the Pharm.D. Enrichment and Professionalism Program (PEPP) presented Pharmacists Building Interprofessional Relationships for Better Clinical Care – Developing Your Personal “Brand” hosted by American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) Student Chapter with Beth Biggs, Vice President of Operations, Consonus Pharmacy.

PEPP Speaker, Beth Biggs, with George Gerding, Dr. David Lee, and ASCP Student Chapter leaders Michael Kiso (’17), Brittany Louie (’17), and Susan Fedler (’17)
ASCP Student Chapter Advisor, Dr. David Lee, OSU College of Pharmacy Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, alongside Chairman of the Pharmacy Advisory Committee, George Gerding, helped students coordinate this PEPP as a great way to showcase geriatric studies and long-term care practice.
Students learned to combine their clinical training with real world experience. They learned more about what administrators want from a consultant pharmacist, how to build relationships with staff members, and developing their personal “brand”.
Beth spoke about finding your drive and core set of values to better understand what you are looking for in a future career. She related back to her more than 25 years of long-term care experience and the specifics of geriatric practice at Consonus.
