An Expert Panel comprised of NLA (National Lipid Association) members, including Dr. Matt Ito, recently released a draft summary highlighting key aspects of care for clinicians treating patients with dyslipidemia. The document aims to help standardize guidelines among different cardiology groups. The recommendations made in the summary state each patient’s risk should be assessed and a treatment regimen for reaching well-established goals identified.
Dr. Ito recently completed his term as President of the NLA. He is pictured here receiving a portrait from the incoming President, Dr. Terry Jacobson, MD.
