The College of Pharmacy welcomed back many alums over the homecoming weekend. On Thursday evening, October 18, the College’s Alumni Fellow, Shelton Louie (’78) and alum Penny Reher (’82) joined first and second year pharmacy students on the College of Pharmacy/Samaritan Health Services float in the OSU Homecoming Parade down Jefferson Street and the bonfire that evening.
On Friday evening, the College celebrated Shelton Louie’s achievements at the Alumni Fellows Awards Celebration. Later that evening, students and alums mingled at the “Pharmacy and Football” Social held at Squirrels Tavern and received an impromptu concert from the OSU Marching Band!
On Saturday, the Dean Mark Zabriskie welcomed a number of alums back to the Pharmacy Building for coffee and Beaver cookies before the big game. Alums in attendance included Ken Wells (’72), Larry Cartier (’74), Frosty Comer (’68), Sue Ann Irving (’67), and Kate James (’01) to name just a few.
